David Porte
President
David Porte is currently the President of WFI. Mr. Porte joined WFI in mid-2008 with over 20 years in the telecommunications industry. He holds senior leadership positions at other companies within the Lightbridge Communications portfolio. He also hold board seats at Proxim Wireless and Capenet LLC.
Prior to WFI, David served in various executive positions for Powerwave Technology including VP of Global Business Development and VP of Global Engineering. At Powerwave, David was responsible for strategic technology initiatives and worldwide business development activities. Prior to Powerwave, David served as CEO of OpenCell Corp. and led the company’s turn-around and sale to ADC. David came to OpenCell from American Tower, where he served as EVP of Strategy and Technology and served on the board of Verestar.
David has served two terms as the chairman of PCIA’s Technology Committee and received the industry association’s Distinguished Service Award.
David holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and did his post-graduate study at Oxford University. David is an avid private pilot and spends time in his home state of Alaska enjoying the outdoors.
Ananth Veluppillai
Chief Operating Officer
Ananth Veluppillai was appointed Chief Operating Officer in March 2012. In his new role, Mr. Veluppillai is responsible for all of WFI’s Operations utilizing the Shared Services that he leads between the other companies within the Lightbridge Communications portfolio. Over the past 2 years, post acquisition of WFI by Lightbridge Communication Corp., Mr. Veluppillai served as the President & COO of WFI. Concurrently, Mr. Veluppillai holds senior leadership positions at other companies within the Lightbridge Communications portfolio. Mr. Veluppillai began his tenure with Lightbridge over 18 years ago and has been responsible for several key wireless network deployments across North America and Europe. Mr. Veluppillai brings vast engineering and management experience to the organization, including operations & financial management, strategic planning and plan execution.
Prior to joining Lightbridge, Mr. Veluppillai was with Gibbs & Cox, Naval Architects & Marine Engineers. Mr. Veluppillai holds B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Maryland at College Park.
Antonio Harnecker
Senior Vice President, Sales & Business Development
Antonio Harnecker is WFI's Senior Vice President, Sales and Business Development. Mr. Harnecker was recently appointed to this position as sales and business development responsibly for the North and Latin American markets. Mr. Harnecker most recently spent 1+ year as responsible of developing the Latin America region. Prior to that he was responsible for over 2+ years of all business and operational aspects of Lightbridge Communications’ activities in Middle East, Egypt & Asia as SVP of the region. Mr. Harnecker's tenure in Lightbridge Communications companies began in 1996, and he has held several different positions throughout these past years, such as EMEA & APAC QoS Business Unit Manager, BeneLux Operations manager, EMEA VP of Marketing, GM Spain and ME.
Previously Mr. Harnecker worked at European Technology Partner (ETP) a leading Norwegian developer of network performance products for wireless operators where he held project management, project delivery, technical support management and business development responsibilities. He holds a Bachelors Degree from the Oslo Engineering University College, Norway, and an International Executive MBA from the Instituto de Empresa (IE) in Madrid, Spain. Mr. Harnecker has extensive experience in Network Performance, Project Delivery, Operations Management, Sales and Business development and M&A.
Randy Gayer
Senior Vice President, Technical Services
Randy Gayer was appointed Senior Vice President of Technical Services on April 2, 2012. In his new role, Randy will focus on technical services delivery for I&C and site development while also tasked with branching out to a new customer base of enterprise, government and cable customers. Randy is a seasoned telecommunications executive with extensive experience in several functional and managerial areas including: General Management; Telecommunications Operations including Turn-Key Wireless and fiber deployments; Strategic Planning, Sales and Marketing. He has overseen hundreds of deployment projects for almost every major Wireless and Cable provider. Randy has spent the past 13 years with Velocitel Inc., where he has held the positions of President of Operations; Chief Operations Officer, and most recently as President of Broadband and Alternative services. Randy joined Velocitel in 1999 as a startup telecommunications services provider and had a major role in growing the company to a 300+ employee group with 16 operational offices across the US. Prior to joining Velocitel, Randy held positions as Vice President of MVP Inc., and Regional Director of Operations for Whalen and Company.
Randy earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan.
Keith Paglusch
Senior Vice President, Engineering Services
Keith Paglusch is a seasoned telecom veteran who joined WFI in 2012 and was most recently with Mobilitie LLC, where he was Sr. Vice President Network Strategy. Prior to Mobilitie he was Executive Vice President, Network Engineering and Operations at Open Range Communications. Keith has also served as Chief Operating Officer at Windstream Communications as well as Executive Vice President at Global Signal prior to their sale to Crown Castle. He spent 18 years at Sprint in all sectors of the business, wireless, wireline, hosting, consulting and several corporate positions. He lead the initial build out and operations of the Sprint PCS network as Senior Vice President Operations for Sprint PCS as well as leading Sprint's hosting and consulting business as it's President of Sprint E Solutions. He has lead organizations focused on operations, engineering, construction, deployment, real estate, product development, M&A, sales, marketing, business development, procurement, human resources, and public relations. Prior to Sprint, Keith worked for AT&T and the Bell System. He received his education from Southeast Missouri State University with a BS in Business administration.
Liz Fiallo
Vice President, Sales & Account Management
Liz Fiallo oversees sales and account management in the US and Canada, making use of her 20 years of experience in Sales and the Wireless industry. Prior to joining WFI in 2011, Ms. Fiallo was Senior Vice President of Sales for a software provider and Regional Vice President for LCC International selling software, services, and solutions to the Wireless carriers and OEM’s. Ms. Fiallo holds a Bachelor Degree in Marketing from Radford University.
Christian Atienza
Senior Director, Finance & Accounting
Christian Atienza has led the Finance & Accounting department for WFI since March 2010 and directly reports to the CFO of the parent company, Lightbridge Communications Corporation. Concurrently, Mr. Atienza holds leadership positions for other companies within the Lightbridge Communications portfolio. Mr. Atienza began his tenure in 2006 at LCC as the Accounting Manager.
Prior to joining us, Mr. Atienza was a Controller at two other companies (World IT Solutions and Washington Technology Group. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Old Dominion University and is CPA certified.
Doris D'Hue
Executive Director, Human Resources
Ms. D’Hue is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resources management including compensation and benefits, total rewards, organizational development, training and leadership development, employee engagement and retention and employee relations. She is a member of the management committee and reports to the President & COO. Ms D’Hue joined WFI in July 1996. She holds a M.S. degree in Human Resources and a B.A. degree in Finance minor in Economics.
